Belgrade-place of unified European culture

Belgrade Dance Festival is turning 10 years of existence. 10th annual  BFI will be held under the auspices of the EU, as the Belgrade Dance Festival is one of the most important festivals in Europe. It is going to be held from 5th till the 19th of April.

Audience in Belgrade will see 13 plays, and some plays will be performed in Novi Sad and Pancevo. There will perform the Wiener StaatsBallett, Ballet Jazz Montreal, Swedish Cullberg Ballet, Danish Dance Theater, Ballet Preljocaj, Maggio Danza, the Beijing Dance Theater, the company Niva Šenfilda, troops Alias, Peeping Tom, Ultima Vez… According to the Director of BFI Aja Jung, along with a small but hardworking team for ten years of the festival, playing in Belgrade came from the margins to the center, nourished a new audience, and the festival gained a prominent place among the best European and international dance event.

Some troops are coming for the first time, and some are returning again, the Vienna State Opera Ballet comes first, but with the entire ensemble and two productions will be after the previews have its own stage debut at the Sava Center 12. April, said Jung.
