The new edition of Cinema City International Film Festival will be held from August 26 to September 1, 2013 in Novi Sad. During those seven days, Novi Sad will once again become cinema city with rich film, music and academic programmes. Programme concept of the festival comprises film, music and Cinema Youth programmes that will take place at 10 city locations.
Film programme will present selections of domestic and foreign productions. Over 130 films will be screened at 8 indoor and 2 outdoor locations.
Music programme includes opening and closing parties that add special mood to the festival, along with numerous concerts, VIP parties and receptions for the guests of the festival.
Cinema Youth, academic programme of the festival, consists of over 30 panel discussions with participants chosen beforehand from over 10 countries. During this programme, film artists, theorists, critics, and representatives of film institutions will address topics that hold grave importance for film art and film industry.

Within the Hungary-Serbia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme co-financed by the EU, Cinema City festival collaborated with the Department of Visual Culture and Literary Theory of the University of Szeged on realizing Cinema Contact project. The aim of Cinema Contact project is promoting cultural exchange and understanding between people from border regions, through film as a popular and effective type of media. With the intention of presenting young domestic film professionals, one of the goals of the project is developing databases of young domestic authors and domestic films produced from 2008 to date.
