For the 41st time, citizen of Belgrade and it`s guest will have an opportunity to watch some of the best and very carefully selected films from all over the world. This year`s FEST will take place from 22nd February to 3rd March.
The very first FEST was opened in January, 1971. Conceived as an annual cross-section of the best films of the season, the Belgrade International Film Festival FEST has grown into one of the most important film festivals, and has become a major event in the cultural life of Belgrade, with whom many young generation grew. What has adorned all of the past years is the fact that FEST was wide open for films from all over the world, and to all relevant authors, and movies that cannot be found in cinemas.
Well-known American actor Michael Medsen will open this year`s FEST. All five films nominated for the best male lead for 85th Oscars will reach Belgrade.
